Thanks to everyone who participated in the Help Portrait event on 4.10.10. We gave Senior Portraits to roughly 20 Seniors in the area and bonded with them in the process. Our next event will be 12.4.10 and we're already starting to plan and organize. We'll be updating the "get involved" form for this next event. We'll keep you posted. We're 2 days away from the first ever Help Portrait event. Thank you all for your continued support and eager enthusiasm. This is going to be one, very beautiful and inspiring day. We truly believe that. Here are just a few things we wanted to bring to your attention.
• If you've signed up online and for some reason haven't heard anything from us, please contact us via the site and we'll be happy to touch base with you and figure out if there's somewhere to plug you in.
• If you're a volunteer and you have questions about your location or job description, feel free to contact us.
• The Bentonville site will be setting up tomorrow night starting at 7pm. For this location specifically, we know that there will be A LOT of moving things around. If you're available to help out with that, please stop by.
• If you know of people in need, please feel free to put them in touch with us. We have slots available for the event on Saturday and it is FREE OF CHARGE.
• Please check back as this list will be updated as it becomes necessary.
]]>• T-shirts will be done this Tuesday. You may pick up the shirts at your volunteer meeting or on the day of the event at your respective locations.
• There are some volunteer meetings happening this week. They are as follows:
Rogers - Samaritan Community Center
Tuesday, December 8th | 6:30 P.M.
Bentonville - Bentonville Church of the Nazarene
Wednesday, December 9th | 7:00 P.M.
• Site Coordinators and planning committee will meet on Thursday to finalize last minute details and install printer drivers on the computers that will be printing the photographs.
• We still have some slots open for people to get their portraits made in our Rogers, Springdale and Siloam Springs locations. If you know of anyone in need, please contact kristen@novo-studio.com
• If you have signed up to participate and haven't heard from us, please email help.portrait.nwa@gmail.com. We will be finalizing everything this week and we would really hate to have left anyone out.

If you're participating in Help Portrait Northwest Arkansas, you will have the option to purchase a t-shirt. This might come in handy because if you're wearing it, we'll be able to identify you from a distance or up close. And even if that last sentence made absolutely no sense, it would still be cool to wear one. The shirts will be $8 and all the proceeds will go to cover the cost of the shirts and the event itself. If you're interested in ordering, fill out THIS FORM ASAP as we would like the most accurate count possible when we're having the shirts made.
